P&L and operational responsibility for the glass packaging business. Kimble Glass was focused on the life sciences industry with operations in the US, Mexico and China and was comprised of a high complex global supply chain, logistics and distribution infrastructure.
Also a member of the Board of Directors for 2 JV companies reporting into this business unit.
⢠Successfully lead the network rationalization and subsequent production and technology transfer to low cost country operations in Mexico and China. Reducing overall product cost structures by more than 30%.
⢠Additionally, lead the initiative to establish a joint venture manufacturing entity in China and developed the global distribution and logistics infrastructure to support the supply chain. The result was a reduction in working capital costs of over 50%.
